About signal reduction
The Tōrō Field Pouch is not designed as a complete Faraday enclosure.
Signal reduction depends on factors such as device type, network strength, orientation, and environmental conditions. While RF readings are often substantially reduced and connections may be weakened or interrupted, some devices can still maintain limited communication under certain circumstances.
The objective is not perfect isolation. The objective is a meaningful reduction in signal transmission through a simple, repeatable physical intervention.

Does the phone still receive calls and messages while inside?
In many situations, wireless connections are significantly weakened or interrupted when the phone is placed inside the pouch. However, the pouch is not a complete Faraday enclosure, so limited communication may still occur depending on network strength, device type, and environment.
Does this work for keyless car fobs?

Will my phone overheat?
Under normal use, the pouch does not trap heat in a way that would cause overheating. As with any accessory, avoid leaving devices in direct sun or high-heat environments for prolonged periods.
How is this different from airplane mode?
Airplane mode is a software setting on the device. The pouch is a physical boundary that reduces wireless signals between the device and its environment. Many people use both together when they want stronger separation.
Is this a Faraday cage?
No. The Tōrō Field Pouch uses conductive materials to reduce signals, but it is not designed or marketed as a perfect or complete Faraday enclosure. Performance depends on real-world variables.
