Construction

Layered by Design

Made by hand, every Tōrō Field Pillow contains eight alternating layers of Ontario sheep's wool and soft steel wool.

Natural

  • Ontario Sheep's Wool

Conductive

  • Steel Wool

Integrated throughout the fabric is a mineral blend of rose quartz, white and green jade, and tourmaline—selected to create movement many people can feel.

  • • White Jade
  • • Green Jade
  • • Tourmaline

Eight layers of conductive steel wool alternate with wool and mineral inputs. These materials have appeared across multiple traditions that explored the relationship between minerals, conductivity, grounding, and the human environment.

The layering creates repeated transitions between organic, conductive, and mineral materials throughout the pillow's internal structure. Every pillow is assembled by hand.

Ontario Wool

Sourced and Processed with Intention

All Tōrō pillows are made by hand inside an Ontario mill where the wool is sourced. Unlike many companies, Tōrō invests back into the local farmers and suppliers we work with.

While many wool products rely on chemical treatments during processing, the wool used in the Tōrō Field Pillow remains untreated.

  • No chemical treatments.
  • No synthetic fillers.
  • No foam.
  • No polyester batting.

From sheep to finished pillow, every stage is visible and intentional.

The pillows are assembled inside the wool mill's makerspace, keeping the construction process close to the source of the material itself.

Stainless Steel Conductive Cover

More Than a Pillow Case

The removable cover is constructed from soft conductive stainless steel fabric. Gentle on the skin, this outer layer is machine washable and serves as a conductive connection point.

It serves three functions:

  • • Protective outer layer
  • • Washable cover
  • • Conductive connection point

The cover also includes grounding ports, allowing connection from multiple angles so cuddling or sitting with your Tōrō pillow always fits just right.

Grounding

Direct Earth Contact

Every pillow cover comes with its own grounding cord that connects you straight to earth.

When the grounding cord is connected, the conductive cover creates direct electrical contact between the pillow and the earth.

The pillow works weather it is plugged in or not, the grounding is just an extra layer.

Why These Materials

Built Around the Release

It is all in the release and staying true to the origins.

This layering processes is not new and we are sticking to the original design. Building in this manor was a key tool in adding the release, and the natural flow of energies in the human body.

The stainless steel cover, alternating layers of pure wool and a metal, mineral powder, and earthing cable all add up to a Bio Energetic processes that most people can truly feel.

The original motive was around the release and coming back to baseline, the pillow is a tool to get there. Learn more about the all the tools sign up for our mailing list to get your free Release Manual sent today.

Care

Care & Use

Do not wash the pillow core.

The pillow contains steel wool and mineral materials that are part of its internal construction and should not be submerged in water.

Only the cover should be washed. Allow the pillow itself to remain dry.

Store the pillow in the included linen bag when not in use.

Placement

Where It Lives, Matters.

Like all natural things, our environment is part of the design.

While your Tōrō pillow may be used indoors or outdoors, try to avoid getting them wet, and whenever possible, it is best kept near trees, dense natural growth, moving water, or covered open weather systems, like under an open window or on your front porch. These environments often carry stronger physical inputs than enclosed, electrically dense spaces.

When possible, avoid placing it directly beside Wi‑Fi routers, wireless transmitters, smart meters, or other concentrated sources of electrical activity.

Placement matters.
